Dear Members and Friends

I hope in the coming year of 2017, everything you do will be fruitful. Founded in 1996, Korean Society for Food Engineering made continuous progress over the past 20 years, and we will continue our pursuit toward innovation.

Our institution successfully bridged industry and academia by publishing researches in unit operation, food machinery, physical properties of food, process technology, automation, quality control which are the core principles of food engineering. We are hosting the seminar involving both universities and industries. I would like to thank the endeavors of the advisors, executives, and staffs who worked tirelessly advancing our institution to what it is today.

To further the advance of our institute, we will be focusing on three major points.

First, expanding recruitment of members and establishing the institution’s identity through scholar activities and advertisements. 
Second, establishing foundation of cooperation between industry and academia.
Third, establishing foundation for international activities.

For the success of the suggested matters, in addition to conducting general assembly, conference, publication of journal, and exchange of information with the industry, we will focus on efficient management, financial soundness to earn your trust.
